Managed water
There was an overall 10% decrease in managed water.
AGL Hydro is the main contributor to managed water reported by AGL. Managed water at AGL Hydro in FY23 was estimated to be the same as the FY22.
Managed water at Bayswater Power Station and Liddell Power Station decreased 30% compared to FY22, due to the decrease in operating hours at Liddell Power Station.
AGL Torrens managed water decreased 29% compared to FY22 due to the transition to Barker Inlet Power Station, which does not use seawater for cooling purposes.

Managed water comprises non-consumptive use of water.
AGL Hydro Managed Water includes the following facilities, West Kiewa, Bogong, Clover, Mckay, Dartmouth, Banimboola, Eildon, Rubicon Scheme, Cairn Curran, Yarrawonga, Burrendong, Copeton, Pindari, and Glenbawn power stations.
