Grid-scale batteries
Grid-scale batteries currently installed increased to 130 MW with the addition of the 100 MW Wandoan Battery (over which AGL has a 15-year agreement with Vena Energy for full operational dispatch rights) which commenced commercial operation in July 2022. The 250 MW Torrens Island Battery and the 50 MW Broken Hill Battery are expected to be completed in H1FY24.
