Equity greenhouse gas footprint
AGL's emissions from our operated facilities decreased in FY23. The reduction in emissions is due to the extended Loy Yang A Power Station Unit 2 outage (commenced in Q4 FY22), and the retirement of the Liddell Power Station at the end of April 2023.

Includes Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions from assets that AGL owns fully or in part (by percentage ownership).
Greenhouse gas emissions are rounded up to the nearest 10 ktCO2e.
AGL sold its interest in the National Assets portfolio during FY19.
Emissions for minor facilities in which AGL has an equity stake but does not have operational control over have been estimated where data is not available.
FY23 data was updated on November 2023. Data was not available at the time of the initial release of the FY23 Data Centre on 10 August 2023.
