Online sales volumes

Digital Sales in FY23 saw a 2.4% decrease compared to FY22. Strong initial FY23 digital sales performance was driven by significant customer inflow to AGL from other energy retailers due to broader wholesale energy market volatility. These tailwinds continued into Q1 of FY23, but declined throughout the remainder of FY23 due to heightened competition.

  • Metric includes Website and Webchat volume, for residential and small business energy customers. Online sales volumes include new acquisitions as well as retentions (inclusive of movers and product swaps).

  • Data relates to energy services only, and is inclusive of Click Energy.
